☼ Here's Scott's initial observations of his new wheels ☼
"After an 11 mile ride with 741 feet of climbing:
-Sensitive to winds gusts, new wheels 35mm/45mm deep (my originals were 23mm)
-Rear DT Swiss 240 EXP 36 Tooth Hub is noticeably quieter than the 3 Pawl Hub on the stock DT Swiss Wheelset
-Bike feels* more agile a low speeds
-Wheels seem* to have the carbon whoosh sound
-Wheels seem* like they may be faster
-Wheels seem* to ride better and accelerate better
-Ride seems* more damped
-Wheels look nicer
-Not sure I can tell they climbed better, but the bike was definitely easier to walk up a 20% grade road 😊
*Subjective opinion really trying hard to discern if sensation is real or if placebo effect. Longer and more rides should help

All in all, I’m really happy with the wheels, and the Light Bicycle Wheel company has been outstanding in my opinion."
