Summer float fishing on the River Wey 🎣

Join me as I rise at the crack of dawn on a sublime June morning and head for the River Wey in Surrey. There are mixed emotions as it was supposed to be the start of two mates' mini fishing festival, but despite my old pal's absence I'm surrounded by nature's summer splendour and enjoy bites galore - a solo angling adventure that sees me catch plenty of fish and recall some happy memories.

I fish feeder and a straight peacock waggler, really spraying in the casters and hemp, while coaxing the fish into a feeding frenzy and catching roach, dace, perch, chublets and even a bleak! As always, please sit back, relax and enjoy...
