How Many Animals Do I Own? (ROOM TOUR)

Описание к видео How Many Animals Do I Own? (ROOM TOUR)

ALL OF MY ANIMALS!

ignore bad makeup pls thx
IMPORTANT: this is not just something I do to impress or just entertain people- it's my passion. I educate others about the wellbeing of animals by exhibiting my animals, and get to watch and learn about creatures first hand. I would never buy an animal just because it's cool, I only buy what I know I can care and provide the absolute best life possible for. In my 30 gallon nano tank you will see two species of fish that do get too large to necessarily thrive in a tank of that size: a dwarf lionfish and a potters angel. In the next 2-3 months I'm upgrading the 30 gallon to a 90 gallon. I'm currently saving up and already have the tank picked out and waiting to be ordered for me.

P.S. the clear strings that may be seen on Zazu's (lionfish) fins is just him shedding/molting. Perfectly normal!

WHY I GOT RID OF MY 40 GALLON TANK:
Living with my family and owning all these animals is rough sometimes, and they told me they didn't want me having more than one tank. I miss that tank so much but wanted to venture into saltwater since I had been studying it for so long but never owned one personally. So I gave the tank to a friend and started fresh (...or salty?) with saltwater tanks. Buuuut now I have several tanks, so the whole "one tank only" rule didn't last.

WHY I GOT RID OF MY HERMIT CRABS:
After learning where hermit crabs come from, I was disgusted. there is NO such thing as a captive bred hermit. All of them are taken from the wild. which yes, some other animals kept as pets are as well. But if you look into how they go about getting from the beach to your home, it is cruel. I didn't want to keep them and support owning them, but I couldn't just go down to the beach and release them either (NEVER release a pet into the wild!!) so I gave them to a family friend who had a daughter who was fascinated by them. I had them for about 9 years, and they are still alive.

GREEN SPOTTED PUFFER?
Ok this is the sad one, Yoshi was taken from a walmart where his living situation was beyond cruel. He was in a 5-10 gallon tank (cant remember which) with 20+ mollies and 10 other green spotted puffers, half dead. The mollies were swimming zombies with half their flesh being eaten off. I complained and took the puffer. Yoshi lived for a month and all his wounds healed, his fins grew back, and he ate very well. But I discovered he had an internal parasite and even though I tried to treat it, I failed. I looooved that lil puffer and had plans to make him his own big tank and everything, rip lil dude.
