Описание к видео Top 5 Biggest Ships in the World

These ships travel the oceans around the world. They carry containers or passengers within their huge vessels.

The biggest one is Allures of the Seas; It is one of the largest cruise ships. On this ship you can find everything you will need during your cruise. It has a pool, library, stores, theater saloons and so on. Allures of the Seas can host 5484 guests at double occupancy. This means that she can host more passengers than the scandalous RMS Titanic, which had the maximum capacity of 3320 people.

The second ship on our list is Pioneering Spirit which is the largest construction vessel. It can remove gas platforms with a single lift of its giant crane and can install pipelines. It is 1253 ft (382m) long which makes it longer than four American football fields lined up in a row.

Because of its shape, this twin-hulled vessel resembles conjoined twins.
Our third ship is Jacques Saade. It is the first of a class of nine sisterships. It is the largest container vessel powered by liquified natural gas. This ship broke the record for the most containers carried in one go and became the title holder. This is one powerful vessel! It is 1,312 ft (400m) long which makes it two times longer than The New York Times Building.

The fourth one is MSC Gulsun. It is a container vessel of record size. It can carry the same amount of load as 14,072 trucks. The boss of MSC, Diego Aponte, named this huge ship after his mother- in-law, Gulsun Soyuer. It is 62m wide and 1,312 ft (400m) long. It is four times longer than the Statue of Liberty.

The last one is Prelude FLNG. Prelude FLNG is the largest offshore facility ever contructed and the world’s largest floating liquid natural gas platform. It is 243 ft (74m) wide and 1,601 ft (488m) long. It is longer than four standard football fields. Compared to these giant ships, we are no different than small fish.
