1991 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Touring Sedan Edition - Fuel Pump Fuse Issues

Описание к видео 1991 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Touring Sedan Edition - Fuel Pump Fuse Issues

Today we examine why this car kept blowing the 20 amp fuel pump fuse. Initially I thought it was the pump at fault, but later realized it wasn’t. Normally I don’t like to be a parts changer, but intermediate problems can often be hard to diagnosis without proper equipment or time. So far since I replaced the relay, it hasn't blown any more fuses. I do feel bad about condemning the fuel pump, however I told my frient, "it isn't a bad thing," at least we know that won't go bad now. Since it was not part of the blowing fuses issue, I paid for the pump out of pocket. Hope this clears things up. This engine is the 3800 or 3.8 V6, with the Touring Sedan trim package.
