This is Angel’s tenth video on the Trinity. This video follows #9 “The Creator of All things.
In this video, Part 9 in his continuing series on the doctrine of the trinity, Angel presents an aspect of the doctrine that is not found in any theological publication he has ever consulted. This is not to say, that what Angel presents in this video is based on his private interpretation, but that trinitarians will readily affirm it.
Many books, essays and scholarly monographs have been written on the subject of the doctrine of the trinity, and Christians have turned away, noticing that something is something lacking in these otherwise, fine treatments of the doctrine; a concise and organized outline of the biblical framework consisting of the addresses in the bible that teach the doctrine, as you see here on the screen.
The problem lies in that well-meaning theologians, spend most of their efforts covering other important aspects related to the doctrine, like the ontological aspects of the trinity, which is basically the relation between the three persons in the godhead, and they rightly correct the various misconceptions of the doctrine like Modalism otherwise known as Sabellianism and tri-theism. Though many of these are tainted by discussions on subordinationism, and even the so-called, eternal generation of the son doctrine.
