This presentation will cover the rationale for taking a transdiagnostic treatment approach to youth internalizing concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, OCD) in response to the growing demand for mental health support in this area. Many youth emotional disorders not only overlap in their presentation but also share key evidence-based treatment techniques.

In addition to exploring the rationale for a transdiagnostic approach, this introductory training will review the Unified Protocols for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders in Children and Adolescents (UP-C/A). Attendees will learn core therapy strategies and techniques to strengthen their clinical practice. The presentation will include didactic instruction and video demonstrations of key methods.
