Who I am? Im the leading man of course in the global version of DFFOO and the next 6-man warrior quest we welcome back Balthier our favorite sky pirate with his new burst weapon. His burst effect really empowers his already strong buff stealing gimmick by making it every buff he steals will be extended by 3 turns and applied to the entire party as well giving him a follow up attack that leaves a debuff on the enemies which will dispell buffs each time they get hit by him. Time for the robot triad of the area 5 six man quest.

Let me tell you right before hand this fight is pretty mechanic heavy and can be a total pain if you try to do it without any sort of cheesy gimmick. First of is the dimensional heritage golem which will give the 3 bosses a buff called enchancement chip that nullifies HP dmg for 3 turns so it needs to be dispelled asap that in turn will debuff them with shutdown which cause HP dmg to them for 3 turns. Next the golem will also provide brv and hp dmg shields and thats the main gimmick of this mechanic heavy fight as the shields need specific elemental dmg to be broken, the first is only 200k and needs either fire water or thunder dmg after its broken he will immediatley apply a 300k shield that needs ice or earth dmg and lastly after that shield he applies a 500k shield that needs water or earth dmg and the worst part is as long as these shields are up they cant die. the small CPU core node will will the FR gauge on a threshold instantly and the big CPU core will trigger the forcetime attack. During forcetime there will be a no brv gain aura active and they will heal up to 80% dmg you deal to them but you can cancel that by entering your own forcetime with a ranged FR attack that cleanses your debuffs will the enemies have no buffs which can only be done by Balthier or Mog at this time so if you want to cancel it you sadly need them. There are alot of cheesy methods to ignore most of the fights mechanics and Im not blaming anyone for going that route as I myself did it too by using Rubicantes FR und combination with Quinas BT effect and Aeriths LD debuff that prevents the HP nullify buff. Sure they heal up after each counter but since you get hit so frequently the FR bonus goes up so fast that you out dmg the healing and will probably get them to 1% even with their shields active, then you only have to break them and the fight is won. There is also the famous Quina Ultimecia Paine setup where Paines BT effect HP poison will deal the dmg while Quinas BT effect helps Ultimecia spamming her EX since Quinas gimmick also revolves around EX recast up.
