What is a valid job offer for Express Entry Application?

Описание к видео What is a valid job offer for Express Entry Application?

A valid job offer is for full-time non-seasonal work that is for at least 1-year duration in a skilled job position listed under TEER 1, TEER 2, or TEER 3.

Moreover, the job offer must be in writing and must have all necessary details such as pay and deductions, job duties, hours of work etc.

Generally, all job offers must be supported by LMIA unless the job is LMIA -exempt.

Your employer does not need to obtain LMIA for a job offer in the following cases:

1: If you are currently working with the same employer for at least 1 year, in a full-time job or equivalent in part-time.

2: If you already work in Canada on a valid work permit under LMIA Exempt works under any of the following three categories:

a: international agreement,

b: federal-provincial agreement,

c: Canadian interest category.

Please note in most cases, a valid job offer cannot be offered unless it is supported by a positive LMIA. The employer must be a qualified employer to receive a positive L.M.I.A and they must also give you a copy along with the written job offer. As mentioned above, only in some cases, a job offer does not need an LMIA, which is called LMIA exempt job offer.

LMIA exempt jobs are explained in detail under a separate title.
