This is a Sizzle Reel covering the themes and concepts of a potential animated web series called “Black Dust”. An action thriller with elements of horror. Think Resident Evil meets Kingdom Hearts. I did all of the animating. I got the rights to the song by Buck/Tick.

Washington D.C. is in the midst of an epidemic turning its citizens into heartless zombies. With dwindling options the president is forced to create elite strike teams to take on this viral menace and unravel the conspiracy that seeks to destroy America from within.

Follow Agent Adams and his assistant Agent Everett, as they prow the streets of Washington, fighting heartless and supernatural terrors alike. With betrayal, intrigue and espionage, the agents will soon learn that the greatest villain is oneself.

This took me several months to make including a load of re renders to get some of the visuals just right. Had to deadline it for valentines day because of all the hearts involved.

I really hope this can become a thing. I’m thinking each episode should be a self contained and easy to understand story, with subtle plot threads which combine the whole show together.

The show may take a while before the first episode is made. The planners are currently seeking voice and modeling talent for the production. As of now, most of what was seen is placeholder material. The heartless will look more scary I promise.

This show is not Blue Spy or Big City related. It is it’s own dark and brooding show with its own lore and world.
