For this episode, I decided to check out an incredible text based horror game within a game...The House Abandon! Created for Ludum Dare 36, I jumped into this atmospheric horror game not knowing what I was in for. What I got was an intense build your own adventure game that surprised me the further and further I reached in. Inspired by the wonders of text adventures on the ZX Spectrum, The Legendary Amstrad CPC, and Commodore 64, "The House Abandon" is a modern re-imagining of the text adventure, played in the game, whilst the environment reacts around you.

The game is a psycological horror, by way of 80s tv horror, from Alien: Isolation Designer Jon McKellan and his team at No Code (www.nocodestudio.com)

The game lasts around 30-40 minutes, and was created in just 3 days as part of the Ludum Dare 36 game jam. Whilst it's a prototype, it's still a complete story and experience!
