Our 3 most recent horse auction rescues came with a very contagious disease - Strangles. Thankfully with our protocol no other horses on the farm got sick!

COMMON QUESTIONS:
+ both horses came in infected together and were quarantined before this video was filmed
+ the disease dies quickest in open air, containing the liquid and bringing it out of quarantine violates biosecurity protocol
+ solid surfaces were bleached and the field rested for over 2 months before horses were allowed back in
