This might be the quickest video that I have ever put together, but with so many people asking for a tutorial, I had to get it posted! Also, before we get started, this is definitely something that can and probably should be done on a wig head, but being a new wig wear, I’m still hoping that I get mine as a gift at my last upcoming Christmas party🙏🏽🤞🏽

After all of my curls were coming out of my heat, friendly synthetics, I did some digging and found a video from @thewiggygirl who used water to save her wavy day wig. That changed the game for me and I’ve been using water to curl my heat friendly synthetics ever since.

The most important tips to remember are:
✨Use your hot tools at the right temperature appropriate for your Wig. Most very from 275 to 300°. I used 300.
✨When you spray the hair, make sure that it is wet, but not saturated. I’ve soaked some of my strands and the curls just come right out, so finding the right balance is important.
✨Make sure that your curls are dry and cool before combing them out. If you come them out too early, I have found that the curl doesn’t hold as well as if you wait.
