Three different vintages and three very different wines this week. The first is one of Australia's gifts to the wine world: Hunter Valley Semillon. Andrew Thomas, "Thommo" to his mates, is one of the great young Hunter winemakers showing just how good the region can be with this grape.

Brad follows up with a red blend from Margaret River producer Voyager Estate. The Girt By Sea is a great entry point wine from a producer whose best wines are far from this inexpensive.

To round out the week Danny looks at a Grenache blend from Spinifex. Like all great Barossa producers the Grenache they have is big, bold and powerful. But to make a more approachable wine for everyday drinking they blend in some Cinsault and Mataro to soften it up a bit. And the art of blending is definitely on show here.
