The 2025 BYD Sealion 07 EV is a modern, technology-driven electric SUV positioned to blend strong performance with premium comfort. It is offered with both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations, using BYD’s proven Blade Battery (LFP) technology for improved safety and durability. The AWD variants deliver up to around 390 kW (530 PS) and 690 Nm of torque, enabling brisk acceleration with 0–100 km/h times ranging from about 3.8 seconds for performance-focused trims to roughly 4.5 seconds on higher comfort-oriented models, while driving range varies between approximately 510 km and 650 km on the NEDC cycle depending on battery and drivetrain selection.

Under the body, the Sealion 07 EV benefits from an advanced electric architecture designed for efficiency and responsiveness. Higher trims use an 82.56 kWh Blade Battery paired with BYD’s 800V SiC platform, allowing faster DC charging and improved thermal management. High-speed electric motors capable of reaching up to 23,000 rpm are integrated into an advanced 8-in-1 electric powertrain system, helping deliver smooth power delivery and strong efficiency. The chassis is well balanced, featuring a double wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear setup, with FSD dampers available on select variants to enhance ride comfort and handling stability.

Inside, the Sealion 07 EV focuses heavily on digital technology and everyday luxury. The cabin is centered around a large 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system, paired with a fully digital driving interface and advanced Level 2 driver-assistance systems. Premium features include an optional 12-speaker Dynaudio audio system, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a comprehensive safety package with up to 11 airbags. Combined with its spacious proportions—measuring roughly 4,830 mm in length and riding on a 2,930 mm wheelbase—the Sealion 07 EV delivers a refined, tech-forward electric SUV experience aimed at both performance-oriented and comfort-focused buyers.
