NorthStar Generator Fuel Leak

After last weeks NorthStar failure, I am hoping to redeem myself with another NorthStar generator repair. This one was found on Facebook Marketplace for $100. Like the other, this one needs a battery, a carburetor clean and also has a leak. Instead of oil, it is leaking fuel. The owner says it needs a new tank. Worst case I have NorthStar parts, but I think this tank can be repaired.

I no longer use Harbor Freight Super Heavy Duty Degreaser in my ultrasonic cleaner. Harbor Freight changed the recipe. The bottle previously stated "NON-CORROSIVE". Now it says "CORROSIVE", "do not user on Aluminum". It now damages most carburetors. Recently I have been using Simple Green and Simple Green PRO HD with good results.
