A Kerala style lemonade with a hint of green chillies and infused with soaked basil seeds. A unique drink indeed.
KULUKKI SARBATH ( Makes 1 portion)
Ingredients
1 lemon
1 green chilli
Crushed ice as required
3 tsps soaked sabza seeds
8-10 fresh mint leaves
2 tbsps sugar syrup
Method
1. Halve the lemon and slit the green chilli.
2. Squeeze the lemon in a cocktail shaker. Add green chilli, ice, soaked sabza seeds, mint leaves, sugar syrup, 1 cup chilled water and mix well.
3. Cover the lid and shake well.
4. Transfer into a serving glass and serve chilled.
