How to line the bot up to the pedestal?
Here in some prototype testing we have stripped off some modules (i.e the scissor lift) and applied some weights to keep the damn thing from flying up into the air and wheeling to its destination... and we have attached two click sensors to the front of the robot to detect pressure. The pressure then halts the motors... theoretically. In the programming behind this video we have each sensor switching off individual motors which as you can see can be a problem.
After this video we soon changed this to affect both motors if one sensor is triggered and then some different code can line up the bot to the pedestal!
