Ingredients for Chola Pattice / Chaap Chola

To make the Chola / Chole Gravy

250 gms Chole, Boiled (Chick Peas)
2 Onions (Finely Chopped)
2 Tez Pata (Bay Leaves)
1 Dalchini Stick (Cinnamon)
3 to 4 Laung (Cloves)
3 to 4 Kara Mirch (Black peppercorns)
1 tsp Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
1/2 tsp Haldi Powder (Turmeric)
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp Dhaniya Powder (Corriander)
1 tbsp Chole Masala
1 tsp Amchur Powder (Dry Mango)
3 tbsp Oil
Salt to taste

To be grinded into a paste for the Chole Gravy

3 medium size Tomatoes
10 to 12 nos Garlic Cloves
1/2" Ginger

Ingredients for the Pattice / Chaap

3 Boiled Potatoes, Mashed finely
100 gms Channa Dal (Boiled with salt added to it)
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Amchur Powder
Oil for frying
