For years, playwright David Adjmi, director Daniel Aukin, songwriter Will Butler, sound designer Ryan Rumery, and costume designer Enver Chakartash have been developing Stereophonic, a drama about a band in the 1970s setting out to record their new album.

After a hit run at Playwrights Horizons last fall, Stereophonic opened on Broadway at the Golden Theatre earlier this spring, and quickly became the most Tony-nominated play in history.
