Some professional athletes spend their entire careers with one team. Nobody could ever imagine Kobe Bryant in another uniform. He spent his entire career with the Los Angeles Lakers. But something didn’t seem right about Michael Jordan wearing a Washington Wizards jersey.

It just turns out that some athletes only wear one jersey their whole career, while some legends end up playing for more than one team. In some cases, it’s not shocking to see a star go somewhere else. Sometimes, it was seen from a mile away before it really happened.

But some athlete departures left us more shocked than when Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
