American country and folk singer Emmylou Harris visits Dublin to promote her latest album.

Emmylou Harris and The Hot Band recorded this live album ‘Last Date’ during a short tour of the west coast of the United States.

The singer, songwriter and musician who is one of the most successful performers of her era says she uses any excuse to come to Ireland,

I love it over here.

Emmylou Harris is also a fan of Irish traditional music and names The Chieftains, The Bothy Band and Planxty among her favourite groups. She hopes to return here soon to experience more traditional music.

I have plans to immerse myself in it, because I really do love it.
