This video features Olivia Newton-John's live performance of Don't Cut Me Down from her concert in Japan in 2003, *specially edited with Olivia and Jon Dee on "A Current Affair" talking about deforestation and National Tree Day. Don't Cut Me Down was originally released on the album Gaia - One Woman's Journey in 1994 and Olivia wrote all the songs on the album including Don't Cut Me Down. This year/2024 celebrates the 30th anniversary of the album Gaia since its original release (1994). Congrats, Olivia! Thank you for your beautiful music, love, compassion and inspiring legacy....kindness to the planet Earth "Gaia".

In the 2012 special edition of the Gaia CD given to all guests at Olivia's Gaia Retreat and Spa in New South Wales, Australia, Olivia wrote, "I recorded this CD in 1994 while staying at my farm near Byron Bay. It was my way of healing after breast cancer in 1992. This album serves as a reminder of my passage, appreciation and gratitude for life - my One Woman's Journey."

Endangered Wollemi Pine (Wollemia nobilis)
The plant Olivia and Jon are planting, as seen in the video, is Wollemi Pine. They are one of the world's oldest and rarest plants dating back to the time of the dinosaurs. In fact, they may have even been dinosaur snacks. With less than 100 adult trees known to exist in the wild, Wollemi Pine is now the focus of extensive research to safeguard its survival.
