(TSLA) -- Tesla Sinks Below the Price at Which It Entered S&P 500 Index :
Tesla Inc. shares are trading below the level where they were when the electric-car maker entered the S&P 500 Index in December ‘20.


The stock dropped as much as 9% to $650 premarket in New York, after falling a similar amount on Monday.


Through Monday’s closing, the stock was down 21% from its Jan. 25 record intraday high.
If these declines hold in regular trading, the shares would wipe out all their gains so far this year.


Tesla’s early-week decline amid a wider market sell-off was fueled in part by Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk’s comments over the weekend that the prices of Bitcoin and smaller rival Ether “do seem high.”


Stocks fall, Nasdaq drops 2% as tech shares extend rout: The S&P 500 was on track to fall for a sixth straight day for its longest losing streak since February 2020. The Nasdaq added steep losses and dropped 2%, as investors rotated away from growth and tech shares.

Apple Inc., Home Depot share losses lead - Dow's 200-point fall: Dragged down by negative returns for shares of Apple Inc. and Home Depot, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is down on Tuesday morning. The Dow DJIA, -0.42% was most recently trading at 205 points lower i.e (-0.7%), as shares of Apple Inc. AAPL went to -2.30% and Home Depot HD, recorded -5.79% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge's intraday decline
AMC Entertainment stock extends rally after analyst calls NYC reopening a 'ray of light' :
Shares of AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. rallied 3.8% in premarket trading Tuesday, to extend the previous session's 14.9% surge, which was fueled by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's announcement that New York City movie theaters can open at 25% capacity next week.


Is Comcast Stock A Buy? NBCU, Sky Rebound Key As Broadband Boosts Cable Business. Comcast's (CMCSA) stock rose 32% in 2019, trading mostly in line with the S&P 500. But in 2020, Comcast stock underperformed when compared with cable TV companies Charter Communications (CHTR) and Altice (ATUS). The biggest U.S. cable TV company, Comcast also owns media firm NBCUniversal and U.K.-based Sky. Comcast's high-speed internet services to homes and businesses remain its biggest growth driver, despite two big acquisitions.
Xos Will Go Public Via NextGen SPAC Merger Electric-vehicle maker Xos agreed to go public by merging with the special purpose acquisition company NextGen Acquisition NGAC, the latest blank-check-company initial public offering. The deal values the combined equity at $2 billion, the two companies said in a statement on Monday.
XPeng Shareholder Is Selling Stock. It Doesn’t Raise Money for the EV Company. Shareholders of the Chinese electric vehicle maker XPeng appear to be selling stock. The sales don’t raise additional growth capital. This is a secondary stock sale, in which some early investors are taking money off the table. Tuesday, reports said that XPeng (ticker: XPEV) shareholders will offer about 10.5 million American depositary receipts, or ADRs, between $32.25 and $35.75 a share, depending on where the broker handling the large block of stock is able to set the price.
