An important component to the ultimate for X trend's system is price action. Trading if any of you have traded in the past you've likely traded using indicators. This is very common for retail traders although very few professional traders use indicators particular in the way that retail traders use indicators. And again when I say retail traders I'm really referring to nonprofessional Home-Based traders so if you use indicators in the past you've likely been very frustrated with your overall results because one of the main problems with the indicators that are provided and many of the trading platforms offered to retail traders is that they provide lagging data. In other words you're basing your trades off of information that occurred in the past. And unfortunately this doesn't work the majority of the time. So price action trading does not require any indicators. It's completely based on the price of the underlying security that we're trading. So there's no lagging data. Everything is in real time. The advantage here is that we're actually making our decisions based on real time live data or live price movements. The strategy we're going to cover is going to teach you how to make trading decisions purely based on price without using any indicators at all. This is huge because price is what ultimately determines your profit or loss. Not a Macchi indicator or moving average crossover or and RSI number price is ultimately what determines your profit or loss. So keep that in mind and in the next lesson we're going to actually look at some charts and you're going to see how astounding price action can be when making trading decisions and you'll see how effective it can be when determining whether the trend is up or when the trend is down and we'll look at ways to identify very precise entry points for either going long or short a currency pair. Let's take a look at a couple of charts.
