"Hello this is Antony Padro in Pompano Beach. Right now the concern for you and us nature lovers is that these nesting turtles in this storm will hopefully not be a disaster. We are watching this and there is nothing we can do but wait and see whether they will be spared or not. (KG - cameraman/director says "Get down to the nitty gritty. I am going to show them where the wave action is coming up on these ribboned-off nests.") Right now with this wave action there are two concerns. Will it bury too much sand and hurt these turtles from becoming able to get back into the ocean when they are supposed to, or is there a danger that they get washed out hopelessly to sea before they are ready to leave? This is our concern, and may the best powers above be with them."
