Swim Jig Tips and Techniques on Lake Maumelle

It's been tough figuring out these brand new (to me) Arkansas fisheries during the early prespawn period, but I started to put the pieces to the puzzle since the water temp has jumped into the low to mid-60's. Here is how I fished a swim jig on Lake Maumelle over Easter weekend to catch a lot of fish and a couple decent ones as well.

Swim Jig setup:
MHX MB874 (7'3" Medium Heavy rod)
Lews BB2 reel (7.1:1 ratio)
17 to 20 pound Seaguar Invis-X Fluorocarbon
3/8 to 1/2-ounce swim jig
