Tonight we're diving into a full playthrough of Oni Anniversary Edition on PC! This is Bungie's cult-classic cyberpunk action game, modded with the Anniversary Edition patch to restore cut content, fix textures, and enable modern resolutions.

Unlike my usual original hardware runs, this playthrough uses the Anniversary Edition (AE) on PC. Why? Because the AE mod is the definitive way to experience Konoko’s journey today. It fixes the notorious "no save points" issue, updates the "Gun-Fu" combat mechanics, and restores levels and dialogue that were cut from the original 2001 release.

Before Halo: Combat Evolved changed the world, Bungie West created Oni. Heavily inspired by Ghost in the Shell and Akira, it was one of the first games to seamlessly blend third-person shooting with hand-to-hand fighting game mechanics.
