After five years of playing without classical guitar fingernails, my nails are back.
I tried a lot of things to get the sound I was looking for without fingernails.
Turns out I was wrong.
I wasn’t wrong to play without classical guitar fingernails, but I was wrong to believe in a “one size fits all” approach to technique.
In this video, I reflect on the past five years of playing without classical guitar fingernails.
I’ll share the pros and cons of both approaches, and I’ll talk about my biggest realization, which has shifted the way I approach music and creativity in general.
