274 - Antlion (Death Valley)

Walkthrough:
Head into the throne room, where you will end up losing half of your party (for now). Follow Krile outside the castle and head back to the Pirate's Hideout where you will be rejoined by Boko. With Boko, head north past Castle Tycoon and go through the lakes past Tule. Keep following the only real path that you can take and you will eventually fall into a pit where you encounter the first "boss" of the merged world.

07:14 - Antlion (Boss)
This isn't an overly challenging fight. Just cast 1,000 Needles or Aqua Breath until the Antlion dies and you are rejoined by Faris. Keep following the path until you arrive at a cave, this is Ghido's Cave.

10:47 - Ghido's Cave
Enter the cave and witness the power of the turtle sage. When you regain control of your party, head on over to the Library of the Ancients that is conveniently right next to you.

15:20 - Library of the Ancients
There are more cutscenes here and now you know what the goal is of the merged world. Talk to the librarian on the top floor and he will give you the Bard song: Mana's Paeon (which I had to run back inside for). Afterwards, head on out when you are ready to go collect the first tablet.
