Lost for words is a short film that follows Amar Stewart’s life after beating Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a form of cancer that has changed his outlook on life. After discovering an aggressive tumor on his tongue, the only option for him was to have a total glossectomy, the full removal of his tongue amongst other invasive treatments.
Lost for words explores his world of art and how it played an important role in his recovery and helped express his emotions when he didn’t have a voice.

The aim of the film is to help people who are going through traumatic experiences to find a positive outlet to heal and rebuild.
With limited information out there on how to live a relatively normal life after a total glossectomy, Amar felt it was his duty to give people a little insight into his world and show that you can KICK cancers ass and live that good life!

Part I of this series is a 5 minute short that will be shown at an event hosted by Guys Hospital Cancer ward where Amar received his treatment. The painting shown in the film will be auctioned with 100% of the proceeds going to charity to raise awareness for Ear, Neck & Throat Cancer.
The event will be held on September 20th 2018 in London.
