Discovering The Historic Prague

Описание к видео Discovering The Historic Prague

A DIY tour in the Czech's capital: Prague

First stop: Old Town Square, featuring Jan Hus' Memorial. The very reason why we included Prague in our EU trip.

Then we visited the Bethlehem Chapel where Jan Hus used to preach and had our simple but luscious dinner in the chapel's restaurant. A bit expensive and the tip was charged immediately in our bill.

Then we headed to Charles Bridge, a medieval stone arch bridge built between 1357 and 1402 over the Vltava River. It is one of the most beautiful bridges in the world.

It's already sunset but we proceeded to see the Dancing House. Its fanciful dancing and floating shape seems to evoke the joyful freedom that engulfed Czechoslovakia after the overthrow of the Communist regime.

Lastly, we can't afford to miss the Prague Castle. The oldest ancient castle complex still in use. Formerly it is the seat of the kings of Bohemia and currently the official residence of the president of the Czech Republic. The Crown Jewels are kept at Prague Castle, as are the relics of Bohemian kings, precious Christian relics, art treasures and historical documents. Guinness Book of World Records recognizes it as the most extensive castle complex in the world.
