Saili mai a'u (Look for me) by Janina Matagi

As requested by my dad, I tried my best to translate the song “Look for me” as it was his favorite song to listen to when he would always come for his medical appointments and to visit me. This song hits home for me as he was not able to hear my translation but I was able to sing it at his home-going. I dedicate this song to my dad Ali, my Aunty Aga’alofa, aunty Chris and my Mama Nia, all who have gone to be with the Lord, their Creator, as well as those who have gone before them. I pray that the Lord Almighty continue to comfort us all during these difficult times. Until that glorious morning. We miss you all so much. To all my loved ones, “Saili mai a’u”.

P.s. Please bare with my voice as I was having a moment last night while recording. Kept stopping cause I wasn’t able to sing and I know I don’t do this song justice but please do focus on the words though, I wrote it with a broken heart and sang it with tears.
