How To Get Alexa In Your Tesla - Full Tutorial
For a long time I've wanted to put Alexa into my Tesla app but it’s always been quite difficult to put a big unit into the vehicle and still have it discreetly playing. Now there is a choice of two units: one is called iOttie and the other is ROAV and they both have Alexa built-in which makes it so simple to extend the connectivity of your house controls to your Tesla.
In this video I go through the step-by-step process so not only can you play Amazon music you can have all your radio stations too. I know the Tesla has those stations but sometimes there is a problem with connectivity and it can keep dropping out but as long as your phone has a good connection the IOttie App runs in the background to give seamless connectivity.
You need to enable Bluetooth on the Tesla and you’re away, you don’t even have to talk into the unit in the centre console but with the armrest closed it picks up your voice very easily. It doesn’t take up much space and as an added bonus you get an extra port that you can connect devices to and charge them.
