Best Halloween Day Ever 1403

Happy Halloween!! We start today of the night before when Adley and Niko are having a dance party when we realize that we have caught a mouse in the house. I don't know if the mice have a secret tunnel but somehow the have made it in our house house and are taking tours left and right! But we caught this one. When Navey wakes up the kiddos really want to show her and we make a plan to take it to Pirate Island to be released.

When we get there, Adley and Niko are trying to figure out the best spot to let him go when they decide the skate park pump track would be best. Adley opens the trap and the mouse runs off towards the beach and our pirate ship. We have a pirate mouse!! It's a Halloween miracle!! Navey really want to play Pirate vs Fairy since we are here. So we pretend play this game as a family for a little before its time to head home and get ready to go trick or treating!!

Back home, i am working on our emotions control panel. Our costumes this year is Inside Out 2. I'm dress up as Fear so i am concerned that the night isn't going to go well and that our panel won't be ready in time. Adley, who is Envy, come out and starts playing with all the controls. She just presses random buttons but somehow figures out how to fix our board and save the holiday. Adley and Niko come over and help put on our finishing touches. This is when the kiddos tell me that we have another mouse in the house. We head into the basement to find that its not in a trap, but in our furnace room and to try and escape it starts climbing the insolation in our walls. We have to tell Jenny we have mice in our walls. The kiddos have to get their costumes and face paint on, so we head into the bathroom so Jenny, dressed as Anxiety, can help Anger Niko and Joy Navey get their finishing touches.

Its time to get candy!! This is our first year trick or treating in our new neighborhood so we don't really know what to expect but the kiddos are so excited. We run from house to house, looking at decorations, getting treats, and playing our characters. So much fun!! oh and Navey is super sassy as Joy! After almost filling our bags, we head home to sort our candy and watch our spooky Dracula dad cartoon.

While we are watching, Adley twists on a wiggle tooth she has and it pops out. Its so similar to when we went on vacation and Adley lost her tooth on the boat as we were going out to swim with sharks. A super fun and eventful Halloween.
