I was curious how much power you lose by adding extension cables from my Goal Zero Boulder 100 solar panels to my Goal Zero Yeti 1000 Lithium and also connect it to the home integration kit so I can power my home. In this video I test how much power you lose when you add 1, 2, 3, and even 4 of the 15 foot Anderson Power Pole extension cables. I was very surprised by the results. In short, stick to 1 or 2 max or you'll lose a ton of solar power and if you have long runs, do that in AC power instead of DC.
