Two years ago we were delighted to convene for the first time the Dubai International Peace Convention. This was held under the title of "Islam and World Peace".

Under the generous patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum UAE Vice-President and prime Minister, the ruler of Dubai, the patron of the event. May Allah protect him.

Looking at the history of Human Civilization, it is clear that peace has been highly elusive. A clear reality in Islamic Civilization is that we have been keen to build bridges with other cultures and communicate with them to promote closer international relations for world peace.

The True followers of Islam will find that many efforts have been made to achieve peace in a way that is honorable and feasible, in a way which is honorable model for humanity in the Islamic Civilization.

Our Extremely ambitious aim is to put Mohamed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Award for World Peace on an equal footing with other international awards like the Nobel Peace Prize.

Dubai is offering another shining example of the noble dreams that are possible if we all come together as one. This is Inaugural speech.. Allow me to translate it into English in very short time.
