Here's a pile of some of my most treasured books. None of them particularly valuable or rare - but they're all beautifil hardbacks, mostly ex-library - and they are stories to read and reread. Mary Poppins, the Wind in the Willows, the Sword in the Stone - and a few, slightly more obscure children's classics by Monica Dickens and Nina Beachcroft.
