As you will see in the video tutorial, there are actually three critical pieces to making sure you get the most out of your jerk baits.

#1 - Make sure you rig the jerk bait properly and ensure it doesn't "helicopter". We prefer the Owner "TwistLock" hooks when using a soft plastic like this for inshore fish like redfish, flounder, snook, and trout

#2 - You must create realistic erratic action with the bait in order to get consistent strikes from fish

#3 - You must regularly change up the tempo of your retrieve. What worked yesterday to catch fish with little wind won't work the next day in heavy wind or different times of the day
