Aimé Leon Dore‘s custom Porsche 993 Turbo 911

The Porsche 993 Turbo is widely celebrated as one of the most iconic generations in the lineage of the Porsche 911. Known for its timeless design and accessible performance, it has captivated enthusiasts for decades. For New York-based fashion and lifestyle brand Aimé Leon Dore, the 993 Turbo serves as the perfect canvas for a luxurious reimagining. Teddy Santis, founder of Aimé Leon Dore, has partnered with Porsche for the fourth time to create a stunning bespoke version of this legendary model.

The car, painted in a breathtaking Mulberry Green finish, embodies sophistication and exclusivity. This deep green hue, a signature for Aimé Leon Dore, contrasts elegantly with 18-inch black Porsche Turbo Twist wheels featuring gold accents. While bronze wheels might seem like a traditional pairing, this combination enhances the car’s high-end feel and connects its striking exterior with its opulent interior.

Performance upgrades have been selectively borrowed from the Turbo S variant of the 993 generation. Additions include a front splitter, a rear wing, and an upgraded exhaust system. Despite these enhancements, the car retains its original 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, which produces an impressive 408 horsepower, staying true to its heritage.

Inside, the interior showcases meticulous attention to detail, blending luxury and quirkiness. Rich brown leather upholstery with gold accents exudes elegance, while the inclusion of fluffy lambswool inserts may leave some scratching their heads. A custom gold shift knob adds a personal touch, referencing the World’s Fair Unisphere in Queens, New York, paying homage to the brand’s origins. The door sills proudly display the inscription: “A team from outta Queens with the American dream,” further rooting the car in its creator’s story.

The collaboration also features a custom steering wheel and embroidered headrests adorned with dual Porsche and Aimé Leon Dore logos. The car will debut at the Aimé Leon Dore London Flagship store on November 22-23. While it is not expected to have a price tag, a complementary clothing line, named "993 Aimé," will be launched alongside the car. This creation is a remarkable blend of automotive engineering and fashion artistry.
