BONUS FEATURE: Mavericks Watching Maverick

The UNO Alumni Association hosted "Mavericks Watching Maverick", dinner and a showing of "Top Gun: Maverick" to support UNO's Military-Connected Resource Center (MCRC), on May 26, 2022. This bonus feature with University of Nebraska President Ted Carter, a retired Navy Vice Admiral, TOPGUN graduate and instructor, preceded the movie. Hear about President Carter's experiences at the school when the first ‘Top Gun’ movie was made — including meeting Tom Cruise!

The MCRC supports student success by fostering an inclusive military community at the University of Nebraska at Omaha as well as educating, engaging and empowering military-affiliated students with information, resources and services.
