Join me on another Nomadic Trail Cams adventure as I head out on my e-bike to explore the Sunny Hill Restoration Area in October 2025, setting up trail cameras in search of black bears and other Florida wildlife. This remote and beautiful region, part of the Ocala area’s wildlife management network, offers a mix of open fields, pine flatwoods, and shaded wetlands — the perfect habitat for wild turkeys, deer, hogs, coyotes, and possibly the elusive black bear.

In this episode, I’ll take you behind the scenes as I scout new locations to mount my Moultrie Mobile Edge 2 and Spypoint cellular trail cameras, showing how I look for fresh tracks, natural funnels, and game trails that tell a story of wildlife movement. Traveling by folding e-bike, I’m able to quietly cover miles of backcountry terrain and reach spots most people never see.
