Firewire Too Fish Surfboard Review part 2 Surfing the Too Fish with 2 different fins

Описание к видео Firewire Too Fish Surfboard Review part 2 Surfing the Too Fish with 2 different fins

This was an interesting experiment. I surfed my Firewire Too Fish asymmetrically. I put two different fins in the board at the same time and surfed them, the NVS Ocras on my heel side and the Rob Machado Keel fins on my toe side.

With the Keels only, the board felt a bit tight on my backhand so I wanted to loosen it up a bit but I didn't want to lose all the drive and projection of my forehand. So, to get both, I thought why not try both fins at the same time.

Wow, was I surprised at how well that worked. My initial thought was that it would help my backhand but it did much more. I helped all my heel side turns which if you break it down are all these turns:

backside bottom turn
frontside top turn
frontside cutback
and to s small degree, frontside off the lip

Anyways, let me know if you think surfing this board with 2 fins was surfing it asymmetrically. Comment if you have tried this before and what your results were.
