If you've ever struggled to find the perfect composition for your night photos, this one is for you! Continually taking test shots to perfect your composition is frustrating and time-consuming, but with the use of Sony's Bright Monitoring or Nikon's Starlight View, you can easily dial in your composition in the dark.

The mode essentially boosts the gain on the LCD screen, showing you your composition in real time. This does NOT affect the image when shot, as it only adjusts what you can see on the LCD screen of your mirrorless camera. This effect can't be replicated, even when you open the aperture and extend the shutter speed and ISO.

I like to bind this one to a custom button so it's easily accessible when I'm out shooting night photos. If you take night photos often, I'd recommend you do the same to find your compositions much quicker!
