“A flying creature ready to decapitate Death”

Handel’s piece is so "a hit", that it travelled through aeons and centuries.

I met it on Stanley Kubrick’s movie “Barry Lyndon”.

It's a Handel piece from his Suite in D minor for harpsichord, arranged by Leonard Rosenman

for the film.

It has such a dramatic “live or die” quality, that it is spiritual and reaching the beyond.

Baroque music was very much about that.

And reaching out for meaning and "an Architect" in things.
