Lynyrd Skynyrd - That Smell (Bass Cover)

One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite Iconic Bands. Released 1977 on the Streets Survivors Album. Written By Ronnie Vanzant and Allen Collins. Skynyrd's Deeply talented Rhythm section and 3 guitar attack was cutting edge in this era of Music. Bass Player Leon Wilkeson is my main inspiration as a bass player. Most all of us bass players cut our teeth on Skynyrds Music. At the time that time and, still today the band does not get the credit they so rightly deserve. Many of us spent long nights in the basement, or garage or in the floor of our bedrooms learning these licks. It doesn't much mater weather you choose to visit and Ole' honky tonk, a bluegrass festival or a rock-n-roll nightclub chance are the dudes in the band doing the gig will know a few Skynyrd tunes.
