Dwelling of Doom occupies a strange place in this OST: I, for one, like it, but I also see it as very repetitive, thus obnoxious. All Mansions are fine though (the bosses not so much.....they're not good).
Fun fact: a sort of remix of this song was used in the trailer shown September 24th 1997 for Dracula 3D (project name for Castlevania 64), but we never saw that again (not even in the final CV64).

FDS Comparison: the FDS version is stomped by this one in every aspect of it.
