作为一个在北京生活了40多年地道的北京人，我可能已经有超过十年的时间没有来过王府井了，今天再次走在这条街上，想起了很多往事，甚至想起了小时候和父母一起来王府井购物的场景。

小时候的北京和现在的北京天壤之别，如果购物的话，简单到买几件衣服，其实可去的地方也不太多，西单，王府井，隆福寺，东大桥，前门，这些是北京80-90年代的几个重要的商圈，大部分的老百姓买点东西都会去这几个地方选购。

过了2000年，电商的兴起对这些商圈打击很大，至少服装类，3c类的东西还是网购更方便些，如今再走在东四到王府井的大街上，已经没有了哪时候的人头攒动的景象，一会到了王府井，能看到很多的游客，现在王府井已经逐渐失去了购物的功能，可能更多的变成了景点来参观。

这一路上，你能看到北京人艺的剧院，王府井天主教堂，王府井百货大楼，外文书店，利生体育用品商店，东安市场，工艺美术商店等这些老牌的商场至今依然在，走在大街上，尤其是进入到王府井大街的之后，更多的就只剩下了游客，时光流逝、岁月如歌，随着时代的变迁，这些老地方似乎还没有变，但也好像全变了…

As a true Beijing local who has lived here for over 40 years, it's been more than a decade since I last visited Wangfujing. Walking along this street today brings back a lot of memories, even reminding me of the times when I used to go shopping in Wangfujing with my parents during my childhood.

The Beijing of my childhood and the Beijing of today are worlds apart. When it comes to shopping, it used to be as simple as buying a few clothes, and there weren't many places to go. Xidan, Wangfujing, Longfu Temple, Dongdaqiao, Qianmen—these were the key commercial areas in Beijing during the 80s and 90s. Most ordinary people would choose these places for their shopping needs.

After the year 2000, the rise of e-commerce had a significant impact on these commercial areas. At least for clothing and electronic products, online shopping became more convenient. Now, as I walk from Dongsi to Wangfujing, I no longer see the bustling crowds that were once a common sight. When I reach Wangfujing, I see many tourists. Wangfujing has gradually lost its primary function as a shopping district and has become more of a tourist attraction.

Along this route, you can see the Beijing People's Art Theatre, the Wangfujing Catholic Church, the Wangfujing Department Store, the Foreign Language Bookstore, the Lisheng Sports Store, Dong'an Market, and the Arts and Crafts Store—these long-standing malls are still here. Walking on the street, especially after entering Wangfujing, there are mostly just tourists. Time passes, years go by, and with the changing times, these old places seem to remain the same, yet everything has also changed...
