This video showcases two components that can be used for pretty much all minecraft farms in the nether:
(1) A fully automatic sorting system with shulker box loaders that allows up to 32 item sorters, each working at hopper speed, and allows each filter to pick up 63 items at a time
(2) An item pickup system using minecart yeeting and slime pushers

Both components are explained in the use case of a portal based guardian farm and a gold farm/piglin bartering setup. The second half of the video is a block-for-block tutorial to build both components.

Notes/Additions/Corrections:
7:40 If an entity or item goes through the nether portal, both sides will be loaded for 15 seconds. The system is designed so that no minecart is running 15 seconds after the last guardian was registered.
