Hello and welcome to the next episode of the A-Z Of National Bus Company Subsidiaries. In this episode we take a look at Gosport and Fareham Omnibus Company Limited better known as Provincial. They operated in the Portsmouth harbour area of Hampshire in the UK and have a long history. Now owned by First Bus, the name has all but vanished. This is a look back to when the emerald green buses could be seen in Gosport, Fareham, Portsmouth and everywhere in-between. As Provincial they were well known for their fleet of new and secondhand Leyland Nationals.
